About the Faculty of Law
The Faculty of Law is a source of justice and truth, as well as a center for legal knowledge and learning. It attracts bright and ambitious minds eager to understand the laws and regulations that govern our lives and to interpret them. It serves as a source of strength and inspiration for those who believe in the power of law to build a better and more just society.
The Faculty of Law at Al-Ayen University of Iraq (AUIQ) offers both morning and evening programs and accepts high school graduates from the following branches: Biological, Applied, Scientific, and Literary.
The admission rate for the faculty is 64.5%.

As we enter the third decade of the twenty-first century, and in a serious effort by our faculty to keep pace with scientific and technological progress, a series of measures and decisions have been taken to raise the academic level of our faculty and align with contemporary developments in the field of legal sciences at the national, regional, and international levels.
Although the faculty was established in 2023 and welcomed its first students in the 2023–2024 academic year, it strives tirelessly to develop students’ skills, keep them informed of the latest advancements in law and its applications, and utilize modern technologies in this regard. You are entrusted with responsibility, and, as envisioned by the leadership of our nation, you are the “Champions of Change” who will contribute, alongside others, to building and advancing our beloved country to the ranks of developed nations.
Finally, it is worth noting the faculty’s commitment, through this website, to keeping our esteemed visitors informed of everything new and useful regarding its activities, plans, and programs. The College follows a path of academic cooperation and development, aiming to improve the quality of education with solid scientific outputs of a qualitative nature within the Faculty of Law and to strengthen scientific research through the following objectives:
Providing an advanced university environment for Faculty of Law students, encouraging them, and identifying their core skills.
Striving to achieve academic and institutional accreditation and entering global and local rankings by consolidating the concepts of quality, reliability, and improving the work environment.
Developing local and international partnerships with educational and health institutions to enhance the quality of education and scientific research.
Enhancing skills through modern teaching methods within the ministry’s program, improving university faculty competencies, employing diverse educational tools, as well as improving students’ skills and understanding their inclinations; this is considered a fundamental pillar in transforming the college into a capable institution.
Attracting young talents to keep pace with technological advancements and the artificial intelligence revolution while developing electronic systems and management (paperless administration).
